- Put
an object to be laminated into the "CP
LEAF" until it is stopped by the sealed side of "CP
LEAF".
|
|
- Insert
"CP
LEAF" around the center of the Film Inlet Port. When inserting,
the sealed side of "CP
LEAF" must be forward.
|
|
- After
laminating a number of items, clean the rollers.
Fold a sheet of paper (the thickness of the paper must be the same
as a calendar or leaflet, etc.). Insert it from the Inlet Port with
the folded side ahead. Repeat this procedure several times. An excess
of paste attached to the roller will cause the "CP
LEAF" lamination film to tangle so wipe the surface of rollers
periodically with a soft cloth dipped in alcohol, as the older the
paste is the harder it is to come off.

<CAUTION>
If you use a thin paper(e.g. copying paper) for cleaning the roller,
sometimes it causes jamming. so, do not use thin paper for this
purpose. |

| Laminating
Film |
- The
exclusive "CP
LEAF" should always be used. Use of other films may cause
trouble (e.g. jamming, etc.).
|
|
- Avoid
"One-side lamination".
|
|
- "CP
LEAF" must always be 2-3mm longer and wider than the object
to be laminated.
|
|
- If
"CP
LEAF"is too big for the object, put the object to be laminated
and waste paper (to adjust the size of the film) into "CP
LEAF", then cut the film to the proper size after laminated.
|
|
- Never
cut up "CP
LEAF" film before lamination. It may tangle in the roller.
Do not use two pieces of "CP
LEAF" film at a time. Two pieces may tangle in the heater
or roller.

| Lamination
Objects |
Lamination
is made by heat and pressure. But, improper operation may cause failure
in lamination or jamming of the film.
Avoid lamination of following (examples).
- objects which change color or quality due to heat (e.g. Thermal paper,
a picture in crayon, etc.).
- inflammable substances (e.g. cellophane, etc.) or substances that are
easily softened (e.g. vinyl chloride, polyethylene, etc..).
- very valuable things that are a one of. (When laminating very valuable
items, do not fail to do lamination tests using similar kinds of the materials
first.)
-
items which exceed 0.8mm in thickness including "CP LEAF".
- lamination of film (without laminating object) only.
